George Washington Carver College & Career Program is committed to excellence in its Career & Technical Education Program.

 

Our mission is to prepare all students to become college and career ready.  To help us achieve this mission, we invite you and individuals from your company to learn about ways you can help contribute to our community’s workforce by preparing our students.

 

The purpose of this luncheon is to collaborate on a strategic plan that aligns our CTE curriculum with current and relevant industry experiences in an effort to produce qualified workers for today’s workplace.

 

We invite you to serve on our 2018/2019 CTE Advisory Committee.

 

By participating in this committee, you will have an opportunity to guide GWCCCA in the following:

 

• Curriculum development

• Provide tangible learning through work-based learning experiences, job shadowing and industry visits

​

• Assist in the development of long-range goals for the school’s CTE program

​

• Surplus materials and resource donations

​

• Mentorship
